"Get Pithy," a unique Steampunk inspired hat created by LIsa Benshoof at Bohemian Mystique. Traditional Colonial pith helmet with adornments.
A lightweight version of the traditional British "pith helment." Measures approximately 9" tall x 8" across and 12 1/2" front to back (23cm x 20cm x 32cm).
About the artist: Lisa Benshoof was born in Kansas, but has been a Washington "native" since 1976. She entered the world of art in 1987, following a series of difficult personal challenges, the healing for which came through art and creative expression.
Supported by friends and family, her unique creations soon started to win awards at juried art shows. All of Lisa's art is one-of-a-kind and handmade-- her work runs the range from jewelry to sculpture to costuming and many of her designs are steampunk inspired.
