Description

A small hand made and decorated felt Voodoo Doll-- also called "Little Buttheads"-- ornament or hanging created by sculptor and art doll artist Kat Anderson. Unusual and really fun and cute gift item! Carries on Kat Anderson's general theme of Day of the Dead items.

Measures approximately 4 3/4" (12cm) across by about 6" (15cm) high. Hand sewn from grey felt and decorated-- includes two stick pins with pink heads, and there is also a tongue-in-cheek poem on "appropriate usage."

About the artist: Kat Anderson is a mixed media artist from Shelton, Washington, working primarily with polymer and air-dry clays, textiles and fiber. Creating one-of-a-kind art dolls has become a full-time passion for her, and her work is a constantly growing process.

She has a unique style, and her work generally centers around the celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Halloween, as well as a few other supernatural images.

Kat's work was the focus of a feature article in the prestigious "Art Doll Quarterly" magazine for the Fall 2016 issue-- this is the premier art doll collector magazine in the world, and the article is testament to Kat's superb work and vision.
